Our Guiding Principles Are Integrity, Inclusion, Self Determination
JOIN WITH US AT PA CONNECTING COMMUNITIES IN BRINGING ABOUT A CHANGE IN HARRISBURG. REACH OUT WITH US TO HARRISBURG AND YOUR STATE LEGISLATOR
Now more than ever due to the pandemic, PACC needs you, your family members, friends, and local Legislators to advocate for the 75% retainer payment for Home and Community and Employment Services!
Please begin to advocate for PACC to retain essential community supports currently suspended due to social isolation to ensure we can reopen after this crisis, maintain our employees and their health benefits and our countless partnerships with community locations to provide services!
Currently the U.S. House of Representatives are deliberating and soon will vote on the next stimulus package which will include funding for the States including PA. After passing in the House the U.S. Senate will deliberate then vote. If passed in the Senate, this will be sent to the President for his signature then…the funding will be disbursed to the States including PA. According to Mark Davis, President and CEO of PAR: Pennsylvania Advocacy and Resources for Autism and Intellectual Disabilities, Providers in PA “should soon have a decision” regarding whether or not Governor Wolf and the PA Legislature will approve the 75% Retainer Payment we all have been diligently advocating for.
In light of this, now is the time for PACCs voices to be heard even louder and clearer! Please keep calling and emailing our PA Legislators!
